Did you purchase a magnesium fire starter for your bug out bag yet? If so, good for you! We have several in ours. If you aren't sure how to make it work there are several videos on You Tube to help you out with that. Someone recently gave me a great idea of what to use for kindling. I tried it out and it works great! The idea is to save the lint from your dryer. You should have some type of kindling in your bug out bag and this works great because it weighs almost nothing and it catches on fire quickly.
